- All ballots must be submitted online, with valid name, address and telephone number listed. Each e-mail ballot must include a valid, verifiable e-mail address.
- Nominees must be based in York County. Only one entry per person or e-mail address.
- All online entries will be placed into a random drawing for a $50 gift card to one of the winning businesses. One prize will be awarded following the publication of the Fort Mill Times special pages. Should winner not respond within 72 hours of contact, will select another random winner.
- Deadline to vote is 5 pm Friday, October 21, 2011. Entrants must be 18 years or older. Contest is open to U.S. residents or legal aliens only. Employees, independent contractors, motor route carriers, agents, correspondents and immediate families of The Herald, Enquirer-Herald, Fort Mill Times and Lake Wylie Pilot are not eligible. "Immediate families" includes spouses, parents, brothers and their spouses, sisters and their spouses, children and stepchildren and their spouses.
- Winners will be announced in special pages in the Fort Mill Times later this fall.
- Entry will be deemed consent for the use of entrant's name and photo in The Herald and in all media for advertising and/or trade purposes without compensation.
- The Herald reserves the right to amend these rules at any time during the contest.
